Our partnered Japanese factories sew with millimeter-level precision. We deliver flat, durable, and beautifully rolled lapels that cheaper alternative factories cannot replicate.
2. Zero Communication & Logistics Barrier
We handle all communication, order management, and international shipping paperwork. We automatically prepare origin declarations under the Japan-EU EPA to ensure 0% customs duties for EU partners. You can source from Japan as smoothly as buying locally.
*Please note that EU Value Added Tax (VAT) and proxy handling fees will still apply.
3. Reliable Delivery & Low Risk
Japanese factories are strictly punctual. No more delayed client fittings due to shipping issues. We can also handle small-batch production.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1. Do I need to purchase Japanese fabrics (like Bisyu or NIKKE) on a per-meter basis in advance?
A. No. Just like foreign imported brands, Japanese fabrics are available as complete bunch books. You do not need to buy fabric in advance; you simply select references from the book and order on a cut-length basis when placing suit orders.
Q2. How are import duties handled for shipments to the EU (e.g., France)?
A. Because all our garments are tailored in Japan, they qualify for preferential tariff treatment under the Japan-EU EPA. We include the Origin Declaration on the invoice so that import duties (approx. 12%) are reduced to 0%. Local VAT/TVA and courier clearance fees remain the responsibility of the recipient.
Q3. What payment methods do you accept for swatch books and garment orders?
A. We process all international payments via Wise, offering a fast, safe, and cost-effective transfer process without excessive bank fees.
Q4. What if we have no experience with measuring, or are concerned about our staff's measuring skills?
A. Please rest assured. We provide an easy-to-understand measuring guide so that even beginners or those unsure of the process can take accurate measurements. Additionally, for partner companies and stores that request it, we offer on-site measuring training sessions by our professional staff (at cost), ensuring complete technical support.

The Story & The Mind Behind the Craft

Who is Kenta Takeyama? The Visionary Behind Biancco.

Kenta Takeyama, founder of Biancco, in the Sapporo atelier
Analysis by a Tailor

Kenta Takeyama is a Japanese tailoring professional and the founder of Biancco, an independent made-to-measure suit company based in Hokkaido, Japan.

For more than a decade, he has worked directly with customers, learning not only how a suit is made, but more importantly, how a suit should fit, feel, and function for the person who wears it.
His approach has always been simple:A great suit is not just made.It is designed around the person who wears it.

⸻From selling suits to understanding suits.
Takeyama began his career in the Japanese apparel industry, working with ready-to-wear suits before moving into the made-to-measure business.
That experience taught him an important difference:Selling a suit is not the same as understanding a suit.Fit, posture, body shape, fabric, construction, balance, and personal style all have to work together.
Over the years, he developed his own approach through thousands of conversations, fittings, measurements, and suit orders.
In 2016, he founded Biancco in Hokkaido, Japan.

⸻Built in Hokkaido. Connected to Japan.Biancco does not operate like a conventional suit retailer. There is no traditional storefront.
Instead, Takeyama has built a business around direct consultation, fitting, fabric selection, styling, and a network of specialized Japanese manufacturers.
This model allows Biancco to stay close to the customer while working with manufacturing partners that specialize in Japanese tailoring.
The result is a different kind of business:small in size, but connected to a much larger manufacturing network.

⸻Why does this matter to your brand?
When you work with Biancco, you are not simply buying access to a Japanese factory. You are working with someone who understands the entire process between:
Your Brand → Your Customer → Fit → Design → Fabric → Construction → Japanese Manufacturing
Takeyama personally reviews specifications and measurements before production.
That human layer is important.Because when producing made-to-measure garments, a measurement sheet alone does not always tell the whole story.Someone has to understand what the numbers mean.

⸻Japanese craftsmanship, without the complexity. For overseas brands and independent tailors, accessing Japanese manufacturing can be difficult.
Language, communication, specifications, payment, production management, shipping, and customs can all become barriers.
Biancco was created to make that process easier. We connect your brand with Japanese manufacturing — and stay involved throughout the process. From a single sample suit to recurring production, our goal is to build a long-term relationship rather than simply complete a transaction.

⸻Why Biancco?
One person.
One network.
One Japanese standard of quality.
Biancco is not a large factory.
And that is precisely the point.
We believe smaller brands deserve access to the same level of Japanese craftsmanship without having to commit to large production quantities.
Start with one suit.
Test the fit.
Build your collection.
Grow together.
